HFA's CEO Chad Buck wanted to ditch the old website design that used neon green as the primary highlight color -- Chad's least favorite color. The old site also had duplicated page content, and was generally not enjoyable to read through.
solution
I came up with a new design based around Navy Blue, the color of HFA's employee uniforms, and incorporated Hawaiian art throughout the website to build the connection to local Hawaiian community. Services were arraned into 3-wide card features, clearly explaining all of the aspects that make HFA a unique food distributor throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Local and Mainland brands are presented in a masonry-style sortable brand cloud. Large images used throughout help to grab attention and make navigating the site enjoyable and engaging.
